Grace

Posted on November 1st, 2011

“The mystic doesn’t seek to avoid a disagreement so much as to infuse it with grace.” ~ Marianne Williamson

When you have grace in your life you’re in a state of ease, serenity and acceptance. No matter what turmoil arises in your life, grace keeps you buoyant so you don’t drown in despair, fear or doubt.

Being in a state of grace requires moving into the present moment; a place where you can operate from your higher self rather than your ego mind. A place where you can watch your thoughts as they come and go and not get tied up in them.

When you know yourself beyond your thinking mind you fill with grace. Its lightness and love embrace you from within and without, making life easy and peaceful. Read the rest of this entry »

Certainty

Posted on October 1st, 2011

“Certainty is the mother of quiet and repose, and uncertainty the cause of variance and contentions” ~ Edward Coke

CertaintyCertainty is an inner knowing that you can do, be or have what you want in your life. It propels you forward to take a chance with a dream, wish or goal before you have the experience to back it up.

Confidence comes once you’ve taken the leap and built self-assurance through experience. It’s in the mind and body, whereas certainty is in the soul. If you don’t feel confident about an area of your life, touch into your certainty and it will support you to move towards your goal. Read the rest of this entry »

Patience

Posted on September 1st, 2011

“With time and patience the mulberry leaf becomes a silk gown.” Chinese Proverb

patient-streamPatience is the space between your dreams and their manifestation. It’s a gentle knowing and a deep trusting that all good things come in time, and that challenging times eventually pass.

When we want to achieve a goal so desperately we push and prod and try to rush the process, we end up frustrated and exhausted. If we resist an uncomfortable experience, we thwart the possibility of growth and healing. When we embrace patience, the universe supports our endeavors. Read the rest of this entry »

Support

Posted on August 1st, 2011

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” ~ Albert Schweitzer

being-supportiveSupport is solid ground underneath as you take a new step; it’s the wind breathing fresh air into a stagnant space; it’s a ray of sunshine beckoning a flower to blossom.

We all need support from time to time, and we each benefit when we offer it to others. It might be a friend who listens with compassion to another’s dilemma, or a parent who opens their child’s eyes to a new perspective, or a neighbor who brings a warm meal to a grieving family.

When support is offered from the heart and soul, it’s wrapped in love, care, and encouragement. If it’s offered from a place of guilt, duty or pity it plants the seeds of victimhood along with it. Read the rest of this entry »

Presence

Posted on July 1st, 2011

“As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson

Your very presence has an impact on the world. Without doing or saying a thing, your energy emanates to those around you. As you fill with love, flow with certainty, and sparkle with enthusiasm, you add these qualities to the atmosphere.

We tend to think that we have to do or say something special in order to make a difference in the world. Yet it is sometimes the quiet, soft spoken one’s that have the biggest impact on people’s lives. Just being in the presence of someone with a high level of consciousness can transform your reality. Possibility

Posted on June 1st, 2011

“We have more possibilities available in each moment than we realize.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

possibilityPossibility is the space where our dreams wait to be manifested. As soon as we wish, hope, or envision an idea, it is created on an energetic level.

Our possibility space is bursting with a life’s worth of dreams and visions, which remain on an invisible realm until we either discard them or manifest them into physical reality.

This awareness in itself is enough to open our perspective to see more opportunities in life. Potentials for love, friends, finances, hobbies, career opportunities and whatever our heart and soul can dream up suddenly appear out of nowhere. Read the rest of this entry »
