Certainty

“Certainty is the mother of quiet and repose, and uncertainty the cause of variance and contentions” ~ Edward Coke
Certainty is an inner knowing that you can do, be or have what you want in your life. It propels you forward to take a chance with a dream, wish or goal before you have the experience to back it up.
Confidence comes once you’ve taken the leap and built self-assurance through experience. It’s in the mind and body, whereas certainty is in the soul. If you don’t feel confident about an area of your life, touch into your certainty and it will support you to move towards your goal.
Without certainty, many people procrastinate and hold off on pursuing their dreams. With it people have faith, trusting that they will succeed. As they tune into this and take action, their self-confidence builds. All it takes is choosing to feel it while tuning out any doubt, fear or concern.
The feeling of certainty may be subtle at first, but with focused intention its vibration increases until enthusiasm thrusts you forward.
Insights on Certainty
♦ Where have you taken bold steps in your life without first having the experiential confidence? Do you remember the energy of certainty running through you?
♦ Where do you hold back or procrastinate in your life due to a lack of self-confidence? Would having a sense of certainty help to propel you forward?
♦ Which voice do you tend to listen to - the ego’s fear, doubt and cautions, or your soul’s certainty, encouragement and enthusiasm?
Inspiration for Certainty
♦ Touch into the energy of certainty right now. Close your eyes, center within and tune into the subtle feeling of certainty. Imagine a dial in front of you that you can turn to increase the volume and vibration flowing through you. Let it expand to fill your whole body down into the cells. Then open your eyes and look at your world through the eyes of certainty.
♦ Whenever you embark on something new and the voices of doubt and fear crop up, say hello and goodbye to them, and then tune into your certainty. You can shift your energy by choosing to have certainty in your space. Watch how this gives you the courage to take action.
♦ Spend a few minutes each day consciously tuning into the feeling of certainty within you as a way to build its presence. Overtime, it will naturally be there for you when you need it.
Play with certainty and make it your best friend.

I like this. I need more of this. I read on yoga journal something about meditating and asking yourself what you want. It has helped me to tune into my deeper self, my deeper intentions. When I went to dinner with family last night, I did the meditation because I was feeling anxious for no apparent reason. The meditation helped me realize that I wanted it to be a nice dinner, I also wanted to incorporate exercise into my week and to plan for my busy week ahead. So, I didn’t let dinner or others wipe out my own needs.

I loved this article Gini ~ Once you pointed to the energy of certainty, i felt it right away and i loved turning up the volume on it. Sometimes your suggestions are just so amazingly simple and practical - thank you so much for sharing this!

Thanks for your comments Gia and Canela.
That is so great Gia that you find helpful insights through meditation which help you stay true to yourself. Meditating is a wonderful tool for accessing our higher self and information.
And yes, Canela, I too love the simplicity of simply tuning into an energy set (all energies are available to us anytime) and then turning up the volume - we really are the creators of our experience! It’s so empowering.
Take care,
Gini
