All healing is first a healing of the heart. ~ Carl Townsend
Healing is the process of our mind and body coming into alignment with the wholeness of our soul. As spirit we are whole, perfect and flowing with the source of creation. But with life pressures, limiting beliefs, and societal conditioning, our mind and body get off center, out of sync, and unbalanced. This leads to aches and pains, illness and suffering.

Centered

Zhuangzi
Centered in yourself, in your life, in your very being brings peace, balance, and clarity. Yet with so many external distractions, to-dos, and responsibilities it’s easy to get off center and lose your internal focus.

Centered within is being centered within your true self, where you access your highest truth and live from a place of ease and balance. When a person says they are ‘uncentered’ they usually feel off balance, as if they are being pulled in one direction or another away from their inner peace. They may become easily reactive, judgmental, and lost in their thoughts, unaware of what their body needs. Or they may be so off center that they are not in their body or mind at all, and feel spacey, ungrounded and unclear.
Moving back into one’s center involves being in the present moment, noticing what is actually going on, instead of getting lost in stories, drama, or the past and future. Being centered allows you to feel what emotions and sensations are going on in the body, and this supports you to communicate with your body and give it what it needs in order to be healthy.
Most important, being centered within yourself connects you to your higher spiritual self instead of operating from your smaller ego self. You can see the bigger picture in life, see both sides of the story, see beyond polarities, and see the truth in any situation. From your spiritual center you touch into higher vibrations of love, joy, peace, ease, acceptance, forgiveness, enthusiasm and freedom. It’s the place where blessings are received and miracles are created. Read the rest of this entry »
