Certainty is an inner knowing that you can do, be or have what you want in your life. It propels you forward to take a chance with a dream, wish or goal before you have the experience to back it up.
Confidence comes once you’ve taken the leap and built self-assurance through experience. It’s in the mind and body, whereas certainty is in the soul.
